Answers to the most common questions during the beta.

Which style files does it open?

Yamaha style files (including Audio Styles, with their recorded drums) and Korg Pa style banks (.STY, the banks with up to eight styles). Open one with Bank…; a Korg bank shows its styles to pick from.

Why don't I hear anything?

Arranger Lab comes without sounds. Choose a General MIDI SoundFont (.sf2) with Sounds…; free ones work well. The recorded drums of an Audio Style play even without one.

How do I play chords?

Connect a MIDI keyboard before you open Arranger Lab: it listens to every MIDI input. Chords played below the split point (shown in the on-screen keyboard) steer the band, and the notes above it play your right-hand sound.

How do I get it?

During the beta Arranger Lab is by invitation. On the request page, sign in with your Google account and press Request access (or email support@digital-strings.com). Once it's approved, the download is on the same page (we email you too). In the app, sign in with the same account and it opens.

Send beta feedback, crash reports or questions through the contact form, or email support@digital-strings.com directly. Please include your Mac model and macOS version, the style you were playing, and the steps that led to the problem if you can.
